WHO WE HELP

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is used to rescue a person suffering from cardiac arrest. It’s an important tool to have on hand during practices and games if a child is not responsive, not breathing and does not have a pulse. Every 3 days, another young athlete in the United States dies from Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

We along with numerous friends are certified trainers in First Aid, CPR & AED usage - we have taught classes throughout Central, MA and most importantly have placed 50+ AED's (Automated External Defibrillator's) with:

John Ellsessar is a father who tragically lost 2 sons to heart related emergencies called “commotio cordis”  a medical term to describe sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) from a blow to the chest. In both instances there was no Automated External Defibrillator (AED).  John has teamed up with Scholastic Sports Zone Foundation to provide all school athletic programs in Massachusetts with access to the best health & safety equipment available through education programs & partnerships.  Please watch.
